Chanel, Chanel

I'm sorry, this will be a very short post. I'll give you all the news on thursday!

But I found this:

I absolutely love it.

And speaking of Chanel...here one of my favourites:

Sorry about not writing any more....although...I'm probably still talking to myself.
If there is actually someone out there reading this, I cordially invite you to leave a comment :)

band from Venezuela

I went to this amazing event yesterday. It was international in order to improve understanding among nations. There were lots of little booths in which people sold typical food and drinks. At eight-ish this band started playing and everyone was going crazy, the atmosphere was incredible. Even that sweet little granny (a little further down) was dancing. It was fantastic, we had a great time (and great Mojitos).
You all missed out on a really fun evening!

great Tom Ford ad we saw on the way

There is a little gallery that I really like and it happend to be open last night, so we popped in to have a look at the current exibitions. My favourite was definitely the one on Karlsruhe and ripping the whole place up. It looks awful, wherever you look you only see torn up concrete, cranes and men with yellow helmets... It seems as if we are not the only ones being quite upset with this situation..

ironic art on Karlsruhe being one big building sight

The moment we left the gallery, we met Kerstine. She owns a bar close to the gallery and invited us to have a shot. We went for Bora Bora, which is really really nice. It is very fruity which is good for me as the only 'normal' shot I can drink is Sambuca and that is not always a good idea..

Kerstine invited us to her bar for the yummiest shot ever

drunk guys at their bachelor party singing "summer of 69" for us (we had to pay 1€)

Well, I had a fab night, hope yours was fun, too!

Stern No. 26, 06/24/2010

I saw this cover of the 'Stern' magazine. The cover story is about models 'Being hungry, waiting, being alone. The models' unardorned life' I read the article and found it very very interesting. But the thing is....I saw the cover, saw the title, saw the model and all I thought was:
Givenchy, Givenchy, Givenchy.
Is that sick? It's about unhealthy models and their hard lives and all I can think of is the lovely clothes they are wearing. Geeez.

Tonight I'll be going to an international event. There's a band from Venezuela und lotsa Havana&Coke.
Pictures will follow.

Hasta la victoria siempre.

As it is summer universities seem to think they must bother everyone who'd like to bum about in the park (i.e. moi) with exams and papers. Sooo I should be sitting at my desk getting some work done but somehow I can't be indoors. And we all know how well one can study lying on the grass sipping an iced vanilla latte..

Dusk in the city

My head is tilted because I was on the phone...you'd better get used to it!

Today I went for lunch with my best friend Vanessa at Dean&David.

Vegetarian Yello Thai Curry

And Julia, the sweetest an bubbliest person in the world having some delicious salad with chicken and fantastic bread:

After lunch I hung out at the park and discovered this waterobsession I was driven by today.
Here some results.

Same bag, same shoes, ancient H&M tunic, Zara shorts

I'm off with the dog now. Need to get out out out. Where do you spend these lovely sunny days?

Let's give it a try

Right. I have been thinking about this quite some time and always feared the amount of time and effort one has to put in a blog to make it a good one. But I need to be able to spill my thoughts out onto whomever they may concern.
My life, fashion, everyone else's lives, shoes, whatever catches my eye, (...have I mentioned shoes yet?) and lots more awaits you. I hope you enjoy it!
